It’s September, and that means a new Letters to Our Children post from me and my friends from the Clickin’ Moms Forum. This month, I’m writing to my oldest son, Ryan.
Dear Ryan,
It’s now September which means school has been underway for a couple of weeks now. I still have to catch myself from saying that you’re in Kindergarten; I can’t believe you’re already in first grade. And so far, you’re handling it like a champ. I thought it might be difficult for you transitioning from half days to full days, but each and every day when you walk out that door, you always have the biggest smile on your face, and I know it’s been another great day in first grade!
Right before school, we went on our family vacation… our road trip to Hilton Head Island, SC. It was so fun to watch you having so much fun. The beach, the pool the sand…. you loved it all. And you were so good on the long sixteen hour ride to South Carolina. I hope that it is a vacation that you will always remember!
I thought I’d include some of our vacation pictures of you having the best time in South Carolina, because if there’s anything I want you to remember about it, was how much fun we had…. and how we can’t wait to go back!
