Letters to our Children – October

Another month… Another installment of Letters to our Children.  This month we decided to add a  theme to our posts….exploration.

Dear Livie, Ryan and Michael,

Sometimes I think we get caught up in our day to day lives… school, homework, sports, etc.  But we need to have a little unexpected fun, to explore something new.  And that is what I had in mind when I took you out of school early this past week and drove just over the border to Wisconsin to go apple picking.  Somehow, we’ve never done this… we go to pumpkin patches every year, but we’ve never been apple picking.  I think our Monday afternoon exploration may have led to a new tradition for our family!

xoxo,
